The New York State Guernsey Breeders Cooperative is now accepting 2018 membership applications. Annual Membership for Seniors is $30 per person or partnership and $10 for youth members. Please note that a partnership membership only carries one vote per partnership and a youth member is any individual who has not reached 21 years of age by January 1.
All New York Guernsey members receive a subscription to the Guernsey Breeders Journal published by Purebred Publishing. In addition to a complimentary subscription, members also receive invitations to all state functions, are eligible for a variety of state awards, voting rights within the state association and will receive quarterly newsletters.
Please note, that when obtaining membership in the New York Guernsey Breeders’ Cooperative, Inc. you are not automatically a member of the American Guernsey Association, though membership in the AGA is highly encouraged.
To become a member of the American Guernsey Association, an individual must own at least one registered Guernsey cow in their own name, submit a membership application, and pay annual or lifetime membership dues.
Membership applications are due by January 1, 2018.
